- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, multiplying the odds.
- American Odds
- Odds expressed as a positive or negative number, indicating how much profit you make on a 100-unit stake.
- Arbitrage
- Exploiting differences in odds across bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap system that eliminates the draw outcome and uses quarter‑goal increments to reduce ambiguity.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of deciding how much money to risk on bets and keeping track of wins and losses over time.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that allows you to combine multiple markets from the same match into a single wager.
- Bet Slip
- A digital record that lists the selections, odds, and stake for a wager before it is confirmed.
- Bookmaker
- A company or individual that sets odds and accepts bets from the public.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the match ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Decimal Odds
- A way of expressing odds as a single number, such as 2.50, which includes the original stake in the total return.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that refunds your stake if the match ends in a draw, leaving only a win for either side.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction, like 3/2, where the numerator is the profit and the denominator is the stake.
- Goal Line
- The line set by a bookmaker for total goals in a match, similar to an Over/Under line.
- Handicap Betting
- A bet that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage to level the playing field, expressed as a plus or minus goal margin.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing a wager on a match while it is already in progress, with odds that change as the game unfolds.
- Live Betting
- Another term for in‑play betting, where wagers are placed as the action unfolds.
- Match Odds
- The price a bookmaker offers for a specific outcome in a match, such as a win, draw, or loss.
- Odds Comparison

- Over/Under

- Parlay

- Stake

- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an edge to the bettor.
- Vig
- The commission or cut a bookmaker takes from a bet, built into the odds so the total implied probabilities exceed 100%.
